LOTTE BIOLOGICS recently announced that CEO Richard Lee has participated in the energy-saving relay campaign Cool Korea Challenge on August 17.


The Cool Korea Challenge, led by the Korea Energy Agency and the Fashion Group Hyungji, is a campaign aimed at saving energy through the reduced use of air-conditioning by wearing cool and simple attire during the summer season to lower body temperature. Currently, leaders from various fields are actively participating in the campaign to encourage the entire nation to conserve energy.


Nominated by LOTTE Mart CEO Kang Sung-hyun, Richard Lee and employees of LOTTE BIOLOGICS actively promoted the campaign by wearing casual attire and posting photos of their efforts on the company’s official social media channels. Mr. Lee has now nominated ▲Kwangho Park, CEO of Fursys Inc. ▲Man-Sik Ahn, Chairman of Seo-hyun Partners ▲Yong-Seog Kim, Head of Process Solutions, North Asia - Merck as the next participant in the relay campaign.

 

LOTTE BIOLOGICS encourages a relaxed dress code including 'Office Coolbiz Look' and promotes an eco-friendly culture within the company by advocating practices such as ▲using reusable tumblers ▲reducing unnecessary printing ▲activating PC power-saving mode ▲minimizing the use of disposable straws, in addition to other initiatives.


Richard Lee said, "I am pleased to participate in this meaningful challenge that allows us to practice and realize ESG in our daily lives." He added, "Through this relay participation, we strive to establish a culture of energy conservation within the company."
