LOTTE Biologics Employee Volunteer Group “LB Heart” Takes Part in Environmental Cleanup

LOTTE Biologics’ Employee Volunteer Group “LB:Heart” Takes Part in Environmental Cleanup for Local Community

Seoul, South Korea, September 30, 2026 — LOTTE Biologics (Co-CEOs James Park and Yoo-yeol Shin) announced that its employee volunteer group, “LB:Heart,” carried out a community environmental cleanup initiative aimed at protecting the environment and creating a cleaner, more pleasant neighborhood.

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on September 29, LB:Heart members participated in a plogging activity at Hanmaeum Park in Seonhak-dong, Incheon. Plogging combines walking with picking up litter, encouraging participants to care for the environment while staying active.

The initiative was organized to engage employees in environmental stewardship and contribute to a cleaner local community. Volunteers walked through the park, collecting litter and separating recyclable waste as part of the cleanup effort.

LOTTE Biologics has continued to support local communities through a range of employee-led volunteer initiatives. Since launching its “Year-End Sharing with Love” campaign in partnership with the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority last December, the company has carried out various activities, including donating school supplies and educational items to approximately 100 children at a local children’s center in July. Employees also participated in a cleanup activity along the Seunggi Stream in April, further extending the company’s environmental engagement in the community.

LOTTE Biologics plans to continue building a sustainable relationship with the local community by encouraging voluntary employee participation in community-focused initiatives.

A LOTTE Biologics representative said, “Through this volunteer initiative, our employees had the opportunity to put environmental responsibility into practice and make a meaningful contribution to the local community. We will continue to encourage voluntary employee participation and expand our efforts to support and engage with the communities around us.”
