LOTTE BIOLOGICS to Participate in ‘BIO Japan 2023’

LOTTE BIOLOGICS (CEO Richard Lee) has announced its participation in the 'BIO Japan 2023' conference, which will take place from the 11th to the 13th of this month (local time in Japan) at the 'Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall' in Yokohama, Japan.

Since its opening in 1986, 'BIO Japan,' the largest bio-partnering event in Asia, has supported the open innovation of global pharmaceutical and bio-companies through its main programs such as exhibitions, seminars, and partnering events.
    
LOTTE BIOLOGICS' participation in ‘BIO Japan 2023’ marks the company’s first attendance at a bio-conference in Japan. Through this opportunity, the company aims to strengthen its presence within the country and enhance business partnerships with companies across the Asia Pacific region. The company will operate a dedicated booth at this event where it will introduce its distinctive competitive strengths, including its long-term business strategies for the Syracuse site in the United States and the Korean Mega Plants, the establishment of the Bio-Venture Initiative, as well as its ADC technology platform capabilities.

Kyoung-eun Kim, LOTTE BIOLOGICS' Chief Business Development Officer, stated, "Due to the recent pandemic, the pharmaceutical supply chain in the Asia Pacific region has undergone a crisis, highlighting the importance of pharmaceutical contract manufacturing and development." She added, "Through 'BIO Japan 2023,' we are hoping to connect with potential customers, not only in the United States and European markets where we have been working to expand our existing networks, but also within the Asia Pacific region."
    
On another note, LOTTE BIOLOGICS will also participate in 'CPhI Barcelona 2023,' which is scheduled to take place in Barcelona, Spain, from October 24th to 26th. Through this, the company intends to establish ongoing relationships with leading global bio-companies and further strengthen its competitiveness in securing new orders.
