LOTTE BIOLOGICS Signs MOU with Five Korean Universities to Develop Industry-Academia Cooperation Programs

Aiming to nurture and advance bio-industry talent through collaboration with five universities

LOTTE BIOLOGICS (CEO Richard Lee) announced on October 16th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Korea Polytechnic University (Foundation Chairman Lee Cheol-soo), Dongyang Mirae University (President Kim Kyo-il), Yuhan University (President Kim Hyun-jung), Inha Technical College (President Kim Sung-chan), and JEI University (President Lee Nam-sik) to develop industry-academia cooperation programs.

Through this agreement, LOTTE BIOLOGICS and the five universities plan to jointly implement various initiatives aimed at fostering bio-industry talent. These include the ▲development of customized educational and training programs in the bio field, ▲providing education to enhance bio-related job skills, and ▲expanding employment opportunities through the operation of a dedicated LOTTE cohort program.

LOTTE BIOLOGICS aims to contribute to alleviating the workforce shortage in the bio sector by nurturing skilled professionals, while graduates from the five universities will benefit from employment opportunities within the bio industry. The agreement also includes special lectures and mentoring programs for employees, as well as research exchanges to promote technological development.

Additionally, LOTTE BIOLOGICS plans to strengthen its efforts to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and the practical skills demanded in the field through industry-academia partnerships with both Korean and international universities.
